Rows and floes of angel hair

Semester two has not been what you would call a breeze so far. It is definitely going to be challenging. But I think I'm going to learn a lot. I'll have to work hard, but I'm up for that. I can do this.

My french teacher is lovely. She is so funny and tells us all of these crazy stories, but she's also really understanding and she talks to us like we're grown-up and mature. You can tell that she has faith in us, and it's cool. French 30 was the class I was most anxious about, but now it's the one that I am the most optimistic about. It's going to be fun and hard and wonderful.

Today I went shopping with my Dad and got a purple pen, among other things. I had to pick up some new ballet tights and soft character shoes..they're pink this time instead of black. Nobody else has pink ones, but I like them the best. The truth of the matter is that I am a girl who cannot resist soft pink leather.

Those rebate cheque things came in the mail last weekend. I should really put mine in the "just-in-case-we-don't-get-enough-grants-to-send-ourselves-to-ukraine-for-the-summer" fund, but I am tempted to just take it and buy an entirely new wardrobe instead. I am sick of all of the clothing I own. Plus I went to The Plaid Giraffe today and decided that I should become the fashionable type of person who wears matching jewellery. Yeah, as if. It's a nice thought, though. I'm sure I'll save it, but for now it's fun to fantasize about all of the stuff I could buy with it instead.

I am a fan of the month of February, and this is because of that thing called a 3-day week, and how I get two of them in a row.

Life is pretty cool.

OMG I love the plaid giraffe!!! It is the most amazing jewelery store ever!!!!! It's my tiffany's (like on breakfast at tiffany's. Audrey Hepburn goes into Tiffany's and she in heaven. that me in the plaid giraffe!)

With my rebate check, I've decided to save it/spend it in the next while. I am going to use it to put towards buying myself a laptop. I need (ok fine....want)one by the end of next year for sure, because I will be attending some sort of post-secondary school, and they're just handy!

Semester 2 is hard for me to. I have so much homework all the time! ew.

anyways, I'm CALLING YOU TODAY! (sunday)
