Welcome to the Planet
A dayful of rambles
I really like Switchfoot these days.
I just finished stuffing 50 Halloween treat bags full of candy. Which was fun, 'cause candy is fun. But 50 bags isn't enough for the 150-or-so kids we get each year. So now I have to go back and rearrange everything, with less in each bag, so that we have enough. I think this is silly.
I am reading The Bell Jar by Sylvia Plath right now. It's on my list of things to read this year. It's good so far. Everything flows really nicely...like, it's not hard to get through a lot of pages really fast, because everything is just so fluid and it...moves. It's nice. In a depressing sort of way.
I miss my family today. They're all gone.
Okay. I need to go and do some Halloween rearranging.

I watched A Lot Like Love just now, with Ashton Kutcher and Amanda Peet...you know? That movie? Anyway, it was lovely. And I'm pretty horrible when it comes to romantic comedies. Well, romance in general, really. So this means a lot, coming from me, the coldhearted stone girl. Plus I really liked the Aqualung song...Brighter than Sunshine. And Aqualung-boy is kind of pretty. So that's cool.
I wanted to visit my Grandma today, but she's either out or asleep, because there's no answer at her house.
We now have 81 bags of halloween candy. Even after I rearranged everything.
Today has been a strange day.
