Oh, you silly, stupid passtime of mine
Rain, rain, go away.
It's been raining steadily here for the past week. It's annoying.
I can't think of much else to say. I have a new fishie named Sam the Fish, and I like him. He likes to hide in the fake plants, but he comes out when I turn the TV on. I like to think he comes out just to see me, but I think he has a secret crush on Alexis Bledel, because he does a very nice fishe dance when I watch Gilmore Girls at 1 in the morning. I am turning him into an insomniac like me. We're pals, Sam and I.
Yesterday was exhausting. Life choices, ahoy!
I'm listening to these two new songs by Fiona Apple. I love them. I can't wait for her CD to come out. Go to www.fiona-apple.com, and listen to O Sailor, and Parting Gift. They're both wonderful. O Sailor is my favourite, though. So pretty.
Oh, Sailor, why'd you do it? What'd you do that for?
I want to download some new music, but I think my dad deleted our program thing the last time he was here. Darnnn. I need some suggestions of good music. Preferably haileymusic, and not boringmusic. But I like pretty much anything, so it's all good.
I keep losing socks in my bed. I swear, they get eaten or something, because I look for them in the morning, and there is absolutely no trace of them anywhere. It is quite disturbing.
I think we're going school supply shopping on Saturday. This sucks royally. I don't want to go to school yet. I like binders, though. And notebooks, they make me happy. So, I'm glad I'll get some of those. But I don't want to use them for Physics and Math and French and Social and Biology and Chemistry. Ruins perfectly good writing paper. English is okay, though. Too bad I don't have it until second semester. I'll have forgotten entirely how to write anything by then.
We're going to see Wedding Crashers tonight. It's my little brothers 14th birthday. He went to write his Learners test today, and did not exactly pass with flying colors. The anger in the house when he came home was immense. As was the hilarity, although I think I was the only one who found it funny. I just spent the last twenty minutes listening to him recall each question on the test, and criticize each of them one at a time. I must say I was quite impressed by the large collection of profanity he has acquired over his 14 years of life. I learned three new swear words today.
I need to make my bed, and go on a sock-finding mission. And I need to feed Sam. And Phoebe and Lulu, but they're so fat, they don't need any food. Sam is so little. I have serious fishie-love for that guy.
Okay. Going now.
