Everybody talks too much and argues
And it makes you want to scream
Washing other people's stinking half-eaten, half-chewed, leftover food for six hours is enough to make anyone lose their appetite for a long, long time. So that's good. 'Cause we all know I need that. Really.
Tomorrow I'm going shopping for some ballet slippers. And hopefully some new dance tops from lululemon, although I'm not getting my hopes up on that one. It would be nice, though. Plus, that way I could go to Blackbyrd Music (pardon me, it's spelled Myoozik, apparently), which is probably the only place in the city where I can find a Nellie McKay CD.
I've finally begun reading Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. I got it the day it was released, but for the longest time I couldn't bring myself to read it. The last one left things in such disarray that I was positive that the new story would have events just as disasterous and frantic and quite honestly, I didn't want to stress myself out over a book, as is inevitable with all things Harry Potter, so I avoided it. But I've decided to face my (grossly irrational) fears, and I'm glad, because the book is SO good. So, read it. Even if you're afraid it'll scare you and you'll have to put it in the freezer like Joey on Friends when he reads The Shining. Okay?
I need to go and sew a cover for my new journal now. I've decided I can no longer write in something with a Harry Potter cover and still maintain the same amount of dignity. As much as I love you, Harry, it just wasn't working out. It's not you, it's me. We'll stil be friends, I promise.
I was going to collage it (like Kaylee did. We seem to keep getting craft ideas from each other lately), but the original cover is acctually pretty nice, and I would feel bad ruining it. So I bought some felt yesterday at WalMart (acctual fabric was just too intimidating), and I'm going to attempt some kind of slip cover thing. We'll see. I don't know what do put on it, though. I'm thinking a nice purple robot. Although how that is more dignified than my dear friend Harry, I have no idea. I'll figure something out, though.
Okay, this is long and rambly, so I'm going to stop. Tomorrow is my first free day all week! I'm so thrilled. Goodnight!
