Anesthetic is Jolly Good Entertainment.

I just got back from having my wisdom teeth out. I quite literally just walked in the door about 10 minutes ago, if not sooner. I feel great, which is a bit alarming, really, as I thought that when you had your wisdom teeth out you were supposed to be all sore and tired and woozy.

Apparently the sore and tired and woozy stuff comes tomorrow, once the enormous amounts of freezing wear off. Im not excited.

But guess what? You know in cartoons, how whenever somebody goes and gets dental work done, they come back with one of those huuuuge bandages wrapped around their heads, under their chins and then tied at the top? I HAVE ONE OF THOSE. IT IS WRAPPED AROUND MY HEAD AT THIS VERY MOMENT, STUFFED WITH ICE AND QUITE HIDEOUS. BUT OH SO MUCH FUN.

My lovely father bought Napoleon Dynamite and Garden State for me to watch. I am very excited.

I love anesthetic. It's brilliant. The anesthesiologist pokes a little needle in you and says, "You're throat will feel kind of tickly and then you'll be asleep." And then you discover that your throat does in fact feel a little tickly and before your brain has time to fully form the thought, you're awake in the recovery room and quite amazed at what a lovely nap you just had.

I can't get over how good I feel right now. But tomorrow is when the pain is supposed to start, apparently. However, I have some lovely Tylenol 3's that should take care of that for me.
