Blogtastic.
I got home early from dancing today, which was kind of a treat because usually I end up staying really late on Thursdays to work on the trio (ONE WEEK 'TILL COMPETITIONS - EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!). My stomach was...alright. It was really bad during about the last five minutes of the drive there. Once I got into the studio and changed and stuff, I was okay. Right before class was about to begin it started really hurting again, but as soon as we got into the warm-up it went away. For about the first hour and a half, whenever we had a little bit of time to sit and stretch or something, my stomach would act up and it would keep on hurting until we were well into the next exercise or the next dance/piece of coreography. After that, it went away...it only started hurting one or two more times after that. This is insane, I tell you. INSANE.
The Dr.'s office called today. Apparently they can't run any of the tests they wanted to run because I am too young, which is the same thing they told me the first time I went. So that was pretty messed up. In a way, I'm relieved because one of the tests sounded like it would be a real pain and I was kind of afraid to do it but I'm also sort of disappointed because I hate getting such bad stomachaches all the time and I was hoping I could finally fix them. And I don't think it's just nerves, because I have beed a worrier forever and it has never, ever hurt this much before. I think it's kind of associated with that, though, because the times that it's really bad are the times when I am really nervous. Like in the mornings before school, before dancing, during dancing, before exams, before I get back assignments... The doctor said it was "Anxiety-Induced [Insert medical psychobabble here..something to do with intestines??Irritable something?? ]"..but it's so frustrating that they can't fix whatever it is. This is dumb. It is so dumb.
I'm not tired...I had a slush on the way home from the city today (best after-dancing present EVER) and I think the sugar has given me extra energy. Hah. But I DONT HAVE TO GO TO SCHOOL TOMORROW SO WHO CARES? (hahahahaha - I love long weekends) The week has gone by surprisingly fast, though. Hmmm..
I think I should paint this weekend, if I can find time. I finished a sketch last night of Simba from the Lion King. Its cute..I have a new sketchbook now and it's really big. It'll take awhile to get used to, I think. But it's fun - I am working on this other one that is of the back of a girls upper body - it's hard, because the hair is all really weird and her hand is at a funny angle. And I cant get her head to be in proportion with the rest of her body. Argh - it's frustrating, but I think I'll be extra-proud of it when I'm done.
Whoa this is a really long entry. And it's completely useless, which is great. I think I'll go read something.
