Eeeech 1. Getting out of the house is a good thing. 2. Painting is hard 3. Mommies are wonderful people. **edit - added more skeches to my album. The link is on the side now, with the other links. So, this weekend was awesome. I'm not going to get into every detail because then this entry would be really really long and you would all be bored out of your skulls. But, in short, I went shopping, cut my hair and spent a lot of time with my mom. I promise you, when everything that could possibly go wrong has, moms will make it better. I also decided yesterday that I needed to paint something. So I did. And it turned out terribly, but it was so much fun. I uploaded pictures of it, and a few sketches from last year here, so you can look at them and then have a good laugh. I am digital-camera challenged, and I don't even know how to use my scanner, so I'm sorry about the bad photo quality. The one with the awful house on it was the one I did last night. At 11:00. It's quite sad looking, but the sunset was so much fun to paint. I just kept mixing colors and slopping them on. Today, my project is to take another look at the painting and fix it. I want to add more detail to the tree and the house, and possibly redeem it from it's third-grade-generic-crap status. I'll post a picture when it's done. Oooh Oooh! I just finished a new painting. I added it to the album. I'm pretty proud of this one...it's ten times better than the horrid house (but really, a four-year-old with no thumbs could paint a better picture). Speaking of the horrid house, I went back and tried to fix it, but it just looks worse. Heh. Oh well, I can forget about it now that I've done this new one that isn't horrid.
