Mom came home stressed today, which is my signal to be a good girl and not ask annoying questions or do annoying things or argue or be disobedient in any way. So what to I do when she asks me to dry the dishes? I argue. (just let them air dry!) What do I do when she's busy cleaning my brothers room? (cleaning my brothers room because he's too lazy to clean it himself. This always makes my mom even more stressed out and irritated. Which is not good.) I ask annoying question after annoying question after annoying question. What time are we leaving? (she didn't know) Are we leaving now? (she said no) Are we leaving in ten minutes? (another "I don't know" - this time quasi-shouted in a rather exasperated tone) And then I start dancing in the hallway which everyone in my family thinks is the most annoying thing of all. Except me. And so, the moral of the story is: I really didn't feel like being a good little girl today.
