I Came, I Saw, I Nearly Destroyed.
Featuring Hailey, her newly acquired learners permit and the gigantic Ford F150

I thought writing the test would be the hardest part. I kind of figured that once I got that over with I would be home free. WRONG-O After the test comes the acctual driving. And the acctual driving will most definetly be the death of me.

After all of the paperwork was finished, I went with my dad to Gondola's for coffee. Then we stopped at the hardware store. On the way out, he threw me the keys and I freaked out because I really don't know what I'm doing and I told him that but he made me do it anyway. I got into the drivers seat and listened to him give me some instructions, and then I started the truck and we were off. We came to an intersection. I had to turn. "Signal," he told me, to which I replied,"HOW THE [insert your favourite expletive here] DO I SIGNAL!" But I found the signal thingy in time and signalled and then I turned. And I turned some more. I kept right on turning and I didn't stop until the truck was halfway on the sidewalk and just metres away from somebodys house. Way to go, Hailey

My dad was super cool about it, though. He took me to an empty parking lot where he helped me get this whole turning and signalling thing figured out, and we practised there for awhile. And he even trusted me enough to let me go back on an acctual road again.

Although I came extremely close, I didn't kill anybody or break anything, thank the Lord. Driving is a very scary thing.
