Thursday, August 07, 2003 I have to babysit today. Uuuugggghhhhhh. [but for a 6-hour day, at $6 an hour, I'll make $36 today. Wow. That's like 2 new tops. Or that pair of leg-warmers. Or some jeans. Not bad..... ] Last night I wanted to crash early, but I found the thunderstorm far more appealing than sleep. I love the rain, and, too be honest, thunder usually scares the crap out of me, but last night was different. The lightning was gorgeous. The sky was completely illuminated with flashes of blue. I wanted to watch it forever. And the sound of the rain was so comforting. It was lovely. Hailey spazzed at 9:17:00 a.m. ***
