I wrote this on July 10th. I'm not sure what it's about, or what exactly the point of it is. Mostly it's just a lot of words thrown together. It sounds as though it's about someone, but I had no particular person in mind when I wrote it. Usually when I write poetry it's about myself and my feelings [I hate that word] and whatnot. I don't know where this one came from, but I kind of like it.

Clean up on aisle five
And hold the sauce.
Make sure you mop the floors
And don't forget to take your Perfection Pill.
Jangling car keys from your pocket.
Jangling pennies in your purse.
Ringing voices in your ears.
While you juggle the homework,
The phone calls
And the flighty emotions in one hand
And this whole, twisted world
In the other.
